By chance (or fate) we met Axel at the Dorje Ling Dharma Centre up on Cortes Island this summer and he told us about his recently completed sauna trailer. The trailer was found at the island recycling center, and the cedar was leftover from another job, and with some jigsaw puzzling turned out to be just enough with less than 3′ (1m) of board to spare. The wood stove loads from outside. Axel joined a few friends to help out on the project, but after some departures from the island, in the end he completed the project by himself. Axel’s German sensibility in construction means attention to detail.
